Enhancements to security features and certifications across EMVCo, AmEx, and VISA 3RI ensure customers can take advantage of the latest capabilities and remain compliant
BEDFORD, MA – July 23, 2024 – Outseer, a leading provider in solutions that defend against fraud, today announced the latest release of its 3-D Secure (3DS) solution which includes the certification process for EMV 3DS v2.3.1.1, AmEx SafeKey 2.2, and implementation of VISA 3RI split shipment and delay shipment flows. This update ensures compliance as well as a frictionless card-not-present (CNP) experience for consumers.
Outseer has implemented EMVCo 3DS v2.3.1.1 and AmEx SafeKey 2.2 in the Q2, 2024 and will initiate the certification processes to enhance authentication, security, and global compatibility. The EMVCo 3DS v2.3.1.1 certification will ensure that every transaction meets stringent global security standards, enhancing trust and reducing fraud. Concurrently, the AmEx SafeKey 2.2 certification will ensure compliance with the American Express card scheme which further helps to streamline 3-D Secure transactions, reduce cart abandonment, boost interchange revenue, and improve the overall consumer experience.
Finally, our implementation of VISA 3RI support will enable flexible applications for delay and split shipment scenarios, allowing card issuers to authenticate and manage payments from merchants offering separate shipments, subscriptions, pre-orders, or backorders. This enhances transparency, reduces false declines, and improves the overall customer experience while ensuring secure data exchange between merchants and issuers.
With expected certifications by Q3 2024, these updates will enhance global compatibility, streamline transactions, and improve data exchange, and reinforce Outseer’s position as a leader in payment security and compliance.
